Feeling overwhelmed is not a weakness — it’s often a sign that you care deeply about growth. When aligned with good levels of emotional intelligence and values systems combined with clear criteria for achievement, overwhelmed becomes focused energy.

Feeling overwhelmed is a natural part of personal growth, emotional intelligence development, and decision-making. In the EIVSOM Learning System, awareness is important. As Dr. Robert Graves explains, “Be aware that you’re feeling overwhelmed. We trust our feelings. We trust the energy we’re creating.” Feeling overwhelmed is not something to suppress — it is something to evaluate.
When facing a new project or life change, ask yourself: Is this decision aligned with good levels of emotional intelligence and positive value systems? Is it congruent to my goal? If the answer is yes, you can “check that off” and move forward. Often, what feels like stress is simply the mind reacting to uncertainty.
