EIVSOM Psychosocial was never designed to simply follow a traditional counselling or coaching structure. During the early research process, Dr. Graves noted that “we found it very difficult to engage these adolescents in direct conversations about emotions and personal experiences". By creating “that kind of academic third-person removal from the personal,” participants naturally began connecting the material to their own lives.
